Julian Bolling endorses Isotonic Lime Blast

Julian Bolling is indisputably the greatest swimmer this country has produced, in addition to being a phenomenally successful swimming coach. Having won a total of 15 Gold medals at four different SAF Games, as well as representing Sri Lanka with distinction at the Asian Games and the Olympics, Julian knows what it takes to make it to the highest levels.

In terms of coaching, his most recent success came with Mineka Karunaratne, double Gold medal winner for Sri Lanka at the SAF Games in Bangladesh.

When the manufacturers of Isotonic Lime Blast presented their product to Julian, he studied its ingredients and nutritional values to ensure that the product matched up to the requirements of swimmers, and then agreed to be a brand ambassador to support this product - Sri Lanka's first isotonic drink. The manufacturers of Isotonic Lime Blast have stated that they consider it a privilege to have Julian Bolling swimming on their team.

Isotonic drinks are particularly important in countries such as Sri Lanka, where the hot and humid climate places added burdens on the body. Keeping the body in balance -what the ancient Greeks called Isotonic - by rehydrating it and recharging it with electrolytes, allows the athlete to maintain a higher level of performance for longer. And as Julian will tell you, practising at higher levels of intensity for longer, translates directly to better chances of improving your personal best.

Isotonic Lime Blast is a sports drink that maintains the body's balance by replacing the fluids and electrolytes (such as Sodium and Potassium) lost in the process of sweating, while also recharging the body with glucose-based carbohydrates. It contains no preservatives or colouring and is non-carbonated and caffeine-free. Isotonic Lime Blast has been scientifically designed and developed in association with the Industrial Technology Institute (ITI) - formerly known as CISIR.

Isotonic Lime Blast was introduced to the market last year, and since then has attracted the attention of some of the country's best known sportspeople - it was recently selected as the Sports Drink Supplier of Sri Lanka's Davis Cup Team. The confidence placed in Isotonic Lime Blast by Sri Lanka's elite tennis players - as well as Sri Lanka's greatest swimmer - indicates that the product is comparable with the international brands being imported to Sri Lanka.
