SLIM’s New Year celebration today

The Sri Lanka institute of Marketing (SLIM) will be hosting its "Avurudu Uthsawaya" to celebrate Sinhala and Hindu New Year in Colombo today.

It said this is the first time that such an event will be open to all members of SLIM including their family members as well as staff. SLIM said all participants are encouraged to wear traditional clothes to strengthen the aura of traditional festivity through the spirit of the country which is the marketing fraternity.
SLIM said all past presidents, members, students and their families are invited to take part in this event.
