Since the year 2009 was affirmed the year of English and IT, sponsoring the CIMA Spellmster Competition (which commenced in 2009) supported Imperial College in our stance of being a socially responsible institute with the commitment to develop the youth of Sri Lanka.

Imperial College awarded a Scholarship amounting to Rs. 160,000 for CIMA tuition to the winner. The 1st and 2nd runners up were also awarded scholarships amounting to Rs. 120,000 and Rs. 80,000 respectively. The 17 finalists were also awarded with scholarships to follow CIMA at Imperial College.
With a vision of nurturing the leaders of tomorrow, our boundaries are not limited to creating sound CIMA graduates. We aspire to develop the youth of Sri Lanka. This has led us to venture into assisting A/L students from all streams with their forthcoming examinations. Imperial College expands operations within Sri Lanka and Overseas
With the growing desire for education, Imperial College expanded its roots by opening a branch in Kandy earlier this year. There are many students who are either currently following CIMA in Kandy or are looking to pursue this dynamic qualification. Some of these students are unable to come to Colombo to follow classes; hence we decided to take Imperial College to them. With a view to educating students both locally and internationally, Imperial College has also formed joint associations with local CIMA tuition providers in Jaffna, Batticaloa, Trincomalee, Kurunegala and International partners in Bangladesh and China. The lecturers at Imperial College frequently visit India to conduct revision lecture and refresher courses for students in Bangalore.
