Dust and chaos on the Galle Road

Re-design of the Galle Road from Bambalapitiya to Kollupitiya with the centre island being removed to allow five lanes of traffic, is causing a lot of congestion these days. Motorists say work is being done in patches instead of a stretch-by-stretch completion which will ease the flow. Pic by J. Weerasekera.
