The Sri Lanka - Korea Economic Co-operation Committee (SLKECC) of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce is planning a Trade and Investment Promotion Mission to Seoul and Busan, Korea from November 21 to 26 aimed at promoting trade, investment, joint ventures, services and tourism between Sri Lanka and Korea.
The main objective of the mission is to have an investment seminar in Seoul and Busan and meet with suitable contacts through one-to-one Business meetings, the chamber said.
The business match making events have been organized with the assistance of The Korea Chamber of Commerce andIndustry, Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Korea Trade – Investment Promotions Agency (KOTRA) KOREA and the Sri Lanka Embassy in Korea. Identified potential sectors are: Paper yarn and Woven Fabric of paper yarn, Rubber Products, Apparel andClothing, Precious and semi precious stones, Coir Products, Software industry, Automobile components, Leather products, Information & Communication Technology, Tyre manufacture, Processed Foods, Herbal cosmetics, Tourism and services, the chamber added |
