The Under 12 and 14 teams of St. Anthony’s emerged undisputed champions of both age categories as they earned majority of the honours. In the first round of the Under-12 competition St. Anthony’s beat Eheliyagoda RFC by 45-nil and drew with Petersons Rugby Academy by 7-all after a stiff competition. In the Cup semi-final they beat Science College, Mt. Lavinia by 19-nil as they continued with their good form to clinch the championship beating first round rivals Petersons Rugby Academy by 17-7 in the final.

SACK fielded two teams in the Under-14 age category competition. Their ‘A’ side managed to beat Talduwa Central by 36-nil and HARFA by 22-nil while the ‘B’ team registered wins against Eheliyagoda RFC by 17-nil and Science College by a close 7-nil. Both teams progressed to the knockout round in the Bowl category as the ‘A’ team beat Ananda College by 22-7 and the ‘B’ team drubbed Eheliyagoda RFC by 33-nil to qualify for the final. Both teams could not score in the Under-14 Bowl final and even after the extra time a scoreless draw was in place. St. Anthony’s ‘B’ finally was decided as winners by toss of a coin while their own ‘A’ team was adjudged the runners-up. Former Antonian skipper Saliya Amunugama is the coach of the junior sides.
