Kaushalya’s rare feat

P.H. Tharindu Kaushalya of Deva Pathiraja National School, Rathgama shone with both bat and ball at the four cornered cricket contest between the under 19 cricketers of Australia, Sri Lanka, India and the West Indies. India were the champions at the competition with Sri Lanka as the runners-up. The competition took place in India.

Kaushalya took part in seven matches of the competition. Tharindu Kaushalya was adjudged the Best Outstation Cricketers at the 2010 Bata-Sunday Times Cricket Competition. He captured over 100 wickets in the 2009-2010 Inter-School Cricket season and scored over 1000 runs as well.
