Blind cricketers to tour India

The Sri Lanka Cricket Association of the Visualy Handicapped has been invited to send a 14 member team to Trivandrum from February 8 to 12, 2012 to play three one day matches with the Indian national team.

The tour is being sponsored by Score Foundation of which Mr. George Abrahams (The Father of Blind Cricket) is the Chairman.

A pool has been picked and trials were held at the Tyrone Fernando Stadium, Moratuwa. The Federation has commenced raising funds to cover air-tickets and other expenses in connection with the tour and seeks the support of the cricket loving public of Sri Lanka.
