Thomians to play St. John’s in Jaffna

S. Thomas’ College Mt. Lavinia will inaugurate an annual Under-19 cricket fixture encounter against St. John’s College, Jaffna from this year. The match will be played on December 9 and 10 at St. John’s College ground in Jaffna.

The 1st XI cricket encounter was a brainchild of the present warden of S. Thomas’, Rev. Dushantha Rodrigo. The encounter will be played for the ‘Warden A.J.C. Selvaratnam Memorial Shield’, while individual awards will be presented for the best batsman, best bowler and the man-of-the-match.
