NEXT creates a record in CIM pass rates!

The leading Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM – UK) accredited tuition centre, NEXT School of Business created a record in CIM education is Sri Lanka by recording an impressive pass rate at the June 2011 examination. The Pass rates in assignment subjects was the best in class with an average of 81% over the other pass rate of all other tuition centres recording 61%.

The General Manager, NEXT School of Business Ms. Kumudu Abeywardene said ‘this is another record set by NEXT! We are so proud that we could rewrite history yet again with such super pass rates. Many students think that assignment subjects are difficult, but I can tell them to think again! We always believed in doing the right thing and coaching the students in the right way, and today results speak louder than words’.

She went on to say ‘we attribute this success to our expert panel of lecturers who are real marketing practitioners. They do this day in day out in leading multinational and local companies in very senior marketing seats or as CEOs. So who else can teach a practical subject like marketing better? Students who are with us know the structural process we follow and how we motivate students to start the assignment early for best results’.

Accordingly to official CIM UK results, NEXT recorded an impressive pass rate of 81% for all assignment subjects; this consisted a pass rate of 87% in stage one (against 66% of other institutes), 72% for stage 2 (others 61%) and 83% for stage 3 (51% for others) subjects. Overwhelmed by this unique success, a humbled Ms Abeywardene said ‘we boldly claim that students has a greater chance of passing CIM 1st time with NEXT, and we will always live up to that claim.’

Ms. Kumudu Abeywardene further commented on the individual brilliance of each lecturer. She said ‘I’m proud to mention that the subjects handled by Dusty Alahakoon recorded the best ever pass rates. For Marketing Information & Research (MIR) the pass rate was 96% (others institutes 70%), for Project Management (PMIM) the pass rate was 97% (other institutes 51%) and for Corporate Reputation Management (MCR) it was 94% (other institutes 53%). This is an all-time record that brings pride to CIM Sri Lanka Region too. Other panel members Reyaz Jeffrey, Bertram Paul, Tharanga Gunasekara & ThusithaAbeysekara produced equally brilliant results to keep the averages as high as 80% in all assignment subjects’.

NEXT School of Business is the largest CIM education institute in Sri Lanka and outside UK. NEXT was set up by a group of professionals to offer quality professional education and consultancy services to corporates and individuals. NEXT has a state of the art learning facility in Havelock Town with all facilities.
