Access Certificate in English Language Teaching is an International Vocational Qualification whereas the other courses National Vocational Qualifications. These National Vocational qualifications are also recognized by international institutions and are accepted as an added qualification for migration purposes. Duration each of the courses is one year. First nine months assigned for academic activities and remaining three months for teaching practice. Teaching practice is conducted in the Leeds International School network under the guidance of senior mentors.Course content comprises of subject knowledge, interrelated disciplinary subjects which are related to the teaching profession along with practical activities. Course assessment is done through assignments, preparation of portfolios and a final examination. Quality of the courses is assured by internal and external verifiers.
