US issues protest warning to citizens

The United States embassy has sent out an emergency message to US citizens warning them about tomorrow’s pro-government demonstration against the US-sponsored resolution at the UNHRC.
The message, meant particularly to those US nationals not registered with the embassy, urges them to closely monitor local media for reports of protests and avoid coming to the embassy when there is a protest in the area. “If protests occur outside the embassy, no one will be allowed onto the compound until the protesters have dispersed,” the message added.
