Kumaran Pathmanathan alias KP, one time head of the LTTE arms procurement unit, has hinted that he would enter politics.
In an interview with the Sudaroli (daily) Tamil language newspaper he said although he had no interest in politics, he might be compelled to take a decision sooner than later.
“Local Tamil leaders and Tamil Nadu politicians have misled the Tamil community. When the need arises, I will have no option but to enter politics to serve the people better,” he was quoted as saying.
He said the TNA was not united and did not understand the grievances of the Tamil people.
KP is currently in the custody of the government. |
