Colombo bourse sustains upbeat momentum

The Colombo bourse on Wednesday sustained the momentum with the regained lost ground the day before when investor sentiments turned positive as Central Bank decided to retain the same policy rates, analysts said. The All share index bagged 0.2 per cent to end at 7,055.67 while 20-script S&P SL index gained 0.11 per cent to close at 3,800.96.

The Index performance was driven by price increases in blue-chips and the market turnover was at Rs. 1 billion.
