The share transaction levy on trading in the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) will be discontinued from tomorrow January 1 as per Budget 2016 proposal.
The CSE said in an announcement that revised transaction fees on equity are as follows: For transactions upto Rs 50 million the fee is a total of 0.80 per cent while the fee is 0.0450 per cent for transactions above Rs. 50 million. - ENDS -
