Sri Lanka’s Export Development Board Chairman/CEO Bandula Egodage stepped down on Wednesday but said he would remain on the board as a director, being appointed by International Trade Minister Malik Samarawickreme. “Though I am stepping down from the EDB today, I shall continue to link with the exports sector,” the EDB Chairman and CEO told a farewell ceremony by the EDB staff in Colombo. He was appointed on 11 June 2013 to the post and continued to hold his substantive position at Nestle Lanka as AVP – Corporate Affairs and Communications, to which he reverts back in a full time capacity. – ENDS -
