The Sri Lanka Tamil Women’s Union (SLTWU) celebrated International Women’s Day (IWD) on March 25, 2023 at the Colombo Hilton by honouring four women – Antonia Joseph, Anushya Coomarasamy, Vidyani Hettigoda and Farzana Jameel who have distinguished themselves in their careers.
The picture shows them with chief guest at the event, Northern Province Governor Jeevan Thiagarajah, SLTWU Trustee, Mohan Tissanayaagam and SLTWU Committee members – Patron Sarojini Kadirgamar, President Malar Fonseka, Past President and IWD chairperson Shanthi Balasubramaniam, Past President and Co-Chair IWD Vijitha Thambinayagam, Secretary Gowrie Shankar, Treasurer Rubini Thiyagarajah and Vice President Yalini Cooke.
