The Sri Lanka Tamil Women’s Union (SLTWU) celebrated International Women’s Day (IWD) on March 25, 2023 at the Colombo Hilton by honouring four women – Antonia Joseph, Anushya Coomarasamy, Vidyani Hettigoda and Farzana Jameel who have distinguished themselves in their careers.

The Ministry of Public Administration has issued a revised Circular on public sector employee salaries
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said today that unilateral action by the UK and other countries in imposing sanctions on certain individuals do not assist but serve to complicate the national reconciliation process underway in Sri Lanka.
