To celebrate 70-years of India’s Independence, a special festival - Glimpses of India, is being organised by Indian Cultural Centre from November 17-19 at the Vihara Mahadevi Open Air Theatre in Colombo.
The inaugural ceremony will be held with a special Punjabi Folk Dance and Music performance by renowned artists from Punjab. Festival activities will include Yoga sessions, age old traditional medical systems, Taste of India (live demonstrations of cuisines from various parts of India), Hindi learning, Bollywood Films, Dance and Music, handicraft and handloom exhibitions are planned.
All events are open for public and entrance is free. Detail programme poster is enclosed.
