The Sri Lankan Embassy in Yangon, Myanmar together with the Sri Lankan community in Myanmar organised a special religious ceremony in rememberance of the victims of Easter Sunday terror attacks.
A 'Bodhi Pooja' ceremony was held at Sacred Shwedagon Pagoda on May 05 under the patronage of Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Myanmar Nandimithra Ekanayake, the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Myanmar said in a press release.
Three Sri Lankan monks led by Rev. Devananda Thero, who are studying at the Abhidhamma University in Myanmar, conducted the Bodhi Pooja.
