Cabinet has given its approval to recruit 20,000 graduates to government service in year 2018/2019, Minister of Public Administration and Management, Law and Order Ranjith Maddumabandara told Parliament today.
The recruitment process will be done at four stages, the first two stages this year and other two stages in 2019.
Three per cent of the recruited will be differently-able graduates, the Minister said.
The Minister said in response to a question raised by UPFA (Joint Opposition Group) MP Kanaka Herath.
