The draft bill on the 20th Amendment to the constitution will be presented to the cabinet today, local media reported. Cabinet Spokesperson Minister Rajitha Senaratne quoted by local media said a special cabinet meeting in this regard is scheduled to be held later today. Mr Senaratne was quoted as saying a special cabinet meeting is scheduled to be held at 6 this evening under the instructions of the president to seek approval for the 20th amendment to the constitution.
