Acting Attorney General Parinda Ranasinghe, was appointed as the Attorney General of Sri Lanka a short while ago.
The appointment of Mr Ranasinghe has been unanimously approved by the Constitutional Council, and coveyed to President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
He was sworn in as the Acting Attorney General on July 1 while he served as the Senior Deputy Solicitor General.
