Mr. K. Ananda Wijepala has been appointed as the private secretary to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
Mr. Wijepala served as the Secretary of the Anti-Corruption Committee established during the yahapalanaya government, a reform initiative aimed at promoting transparency and accountability in governance, nominated by NPP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
Former Speaker and NPP MP Asoka Ranwala was arrested today following a road accident in the Denimulla area of Sapugaskanda last night, police said.
