Menzies Aviation (Australia) Pvt Ltd has been awarded the contract by Sri Lanka to obtain the services of Ground Handling at the Sydney International Airport.
Bids have been invited from all licensed ground handling service providers currently providing ground handling services for the Sydney Airport in Australia, under the limited international competitive system, and two bids have been received.
The relevant contract was awarded to Menzies Aviation (Australia) Pvt Ltd for a period of three years on the recommendation of the Standing Procurement Committee appointed by the Cabinet.
Accordingly, the Cabinet approved the proposal presented by the Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation, Nimal Siripala De Silva.
