Business woman Janaki Siriwardena has been taken into custody by the CID over the ongoing investigations against Thilini Priyamali accused of swindling millions of rupees from locals.
Ms Siriwardena has been accused of introducing businessmen to Thilini Priyamali who has allegedly defrauded over Rs 1.2 billion and currently in custody.
Two others Ven. Borella Sirisumana Thero and Isuru Banara arrested over the same fraud too have bene remanded until November 16.
