The Central Bank (CB) is likely to raise interest rates tomorrow by 50 bps (basis points) after a scheduled meeting today of the bank’s Monetary Board, analysts said.
The CB is expected to announce decisions of the board tomorrow followed by a media briefing. The last time rates were increased in August 2021 while holding the rates during the COVID-19 pandemic.
