The Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka informed all Chinese citizens arriving in the country to strictly abide by Sri Lankan laws and regulations.
“The Embassy once again reminds all Chinese citizens who come to Sri Lanka for business, work, study and tourism to strictly abide by Sri Lankan laws and regulations, and respect local religious and cultural customs,” the Embassy tweeted.
The Embassy also said it has noticed recent reports of a Chinese national allegedly trying to enter Sri Lanka with forged documents, and the case is under investigation.
