Civil society members appointed to CC

President Ranil Wickremesinghe has appointed 3 civil society members to the Constitutional Council.

The following were appointed as members of the Constructional Council :

1. Dr. Prathap Ramanujam.

2. Dr. (Mrs) Dilkushi Anula Wijesundere.

3. Dr. (Mrs) Weligama Vidana Arachchige Dinesha Samararatne.

The constitutional council is a politically bipartisan institution with members of the government and opposition together with politically non-partisan members of civil society.
