President Ranil Wickremesinghe has appointed a special committee comprising Chairman of Telecom Regulatory Commission Prof. Niranjan Gunawardana on a special request made by the Ven. Atamasthanadhipathi Thero to investigate reports claiming that telecommunication towers are harming the Sri Maha Bodhiya, President Media Division said.
