The Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Audrey Azoulay will visit Sri Lanka from July 16 – 19 at the invitation of the government, Foreign Ministry said.
During the visit, Director-General Azoulay will call on President Ranil Wickremesinghe and will have meetings with Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha and Actg. Minister of Foreign Affairs Tharaka Balasuriya, the Ministry said in a statement.
She will also ake part at the celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Sri Lanka’s Membership of UNESCO at the Nelum Pokuna Theatre and travel to UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
