The Ministry of Education (MoE) has issued a set of instructions to ensure schoolchildren are protected from potential negative impacts due to the current high temperatures outside.
The MoE has issued directives to Provincial Directors of Education, directing them to distribute the guidelines among school Principals.
In order to mitigate the effects of the high temperatures, the rules cover a variety of precautions that students can take to ensure their safety and prevent consequences such as heat exhaustion, heat cramps, and heat strokes.
Recommendations for hydration, suitable clothing, and adjustments to outdoor activities to lessen the effects of the heat are among the specifics.
