Fifty four Indian fishermen were arrested by the Navy last night (24) for trespassing into Sri Lankan waters off the north and east. They were arrested in three locations - off Jaffna, around Mannar and in Trincomalee.
The arrested persons are to be placed under a two-week quarantine programme.
