The Ambassador of China, Qi-Zhenhong held an official meeting with the State Minister for Finance, Shehan Semasinghe, on Monday (November 7), assuring Chinese support on debt treatment and stabilizing the Sri Lankan economy.
The Ambassador further said that, by strengthening mutual understanding and further communication, China will support the proposed debt treatment process of Sri Lanka.
"We will never isolate Sri Lanka not only in this situation but in future too. China, as a trustworthy friend, will always be on Sri Lanka's side", the Ambassador had added.
