The Government has decided to reduce fuel prices with effect from midnight today, Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekara said.
Accordingly the price of a Petrol 92 Lt has been reduced by Rs 60, Auto Diesel by Rs 80 per Lt, Petrol 95 by Rs 135 per Lt , Super Diesel Rs by 45 per Lt and Kerosene oil by Rs 10 per Lt.
The new prices will be as follows : Petrol 92- reduced to Rs 340 from Rs 400 per Lt. Petrol -95 Rs 375 per lt reduced from Rs 510, Auto Diesel Rs 325 reduced from Rs 405, Super Diesel Rs 465 reduced from Rs 510 and Kerosene oil Rs 295 reduced from Rs 305.
