Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and his wife have left to Malaysia today morning and is set to be heading to China, Airport sources said.
Mr Rajapaksa had left at 12.25 am on Malaysian airlines MH -178 to Kuala Lumpur.
The former President had left through the cargo terminal, instead of using the VIP Lounge or the normal passenger terminal, airport sources said.
