Showers or thundershowers are forecasted for certain areas in Western and Sabaragamuwa Provinces and in Galle, Matara, Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya Districts after 2:00 pm, the Department of Meteorology said.
A few showers are likely in Northern , Eastern and North-central Provinces besides Matale District.
Parts of Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern Provinces will have misty mornings.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
