Sri Lanka Navy had seized a multi day fishing trawler carrying a large consignment of narcotics today.
They said that the detection of the fishing trawler and the six suspects who were carrying narcotics were made as a result of a coordinated intelligence operation conducted by the State Intelligence Service and Sri Lanka Navy.
The suspects as well as the vessel are expected to be brought to the port of Colombo today and further action would be taken against them.
