New Judge of the Supreme Court and new President of the Court of Appeal sworn in
President of the Court of Appeal, Judge Arjuna Obeysekera was sworn in as a Supreme Court Judge before President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (14).
Court of Appeal Judge Priyantha Fernando was sworn in as the new President of the Court of Appeal and former High Court Judge Shashi Mahendra was sworn in as a Judge of the Court of Appeal.
Secretary to the President P B Jayasundera was also present at the occasion.

SLAF Bell 212 crashes into Maduru Oya
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
