Nine-hour water cut for multiple areas today
A nine-hour water cut will be imposed in multiple areas of Colombo and its suburbs today January 21, owing to essential maintenance work carried out by the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board said
Hence, the areas affected by the water cut are, Colombo, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Kotte and Kaduwela Municipal Council areas; Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa and Kolonnawa Urban Council areas; Kotikawatta and Mulleriyawa Local Council areas and Ratmalana and Katubedda.
The water supply will be in effect no later than 9 hours from 11.00 am to 8.00 pm today.
