Parliament prorogued from midnight today
President Ranil Wickremesinghe has prorogued Parliament with effect from midnight today (26). An extraordinary gazette notification in this regard has now been published by the Government Printer.
The next Parliament session will accordingly commence at 10.30am on February 7.
