President Ranil Wickremesinghe today told Parliament that he was willing to set up a Presidential Commission or a Select Committee to probe mishandling the economy in the past few years.
President Wickremesinghe was responding to a question raised by SJB MP Kabir Hashim as to why the government was not investigating the past deeds.
The President said that if the Parliament was agreeable to appoint a Select Committee the members could reach agreement and take a decision.
