Police in Ayagama are investigating the suspicious death of a 50-year-old man who was found dead at his home yesterday with head injuries.
At the time of his death, the victim had been alone at home, with his wife having gone to her mother's house while his son had been at the temple. The body is currently at the Ayagama Hospital pending a magisterial inquiry and a post-mortem examination.
