The Ministry of Sports has suspend the registration of the Sri Lanka Automobile Sports Association by a Gazette notification issued yesterday (August 9).
Accordingly, the Minister of Sports Roshan Ranasinghe has discontinued the accreditation of the Sri Lanka Automobile Sports Association with immediate effect.
Minister Ranasinghe has also assigned a seven-member committee headed by Mahesh Gammanpila to temporarily oversee its operations.
