Cabinet has approved a proposal to appoint a specialist committee to act regarding salary anomalies in the government service.
A press release by the Government Information Department said that the committee is being appointed considering the constant concerns raised by employee groups and trade unions on salary anomalies among various employee groups in the government service.
The specialist committee will study the salary anomalies and submit a report so that the said anomalies can be rectified by the Budget 2025, the government said.
