A suspect has been arrested in Ragama in connection with the murder of a woman in Norochcholai.
The victim's body was found on Saturday (26) near the Sethapola Lagoon in Norochcholai with cut injuries to her body.
Norochcholai Police which commenced investigations into the incident tracked down and arrested a 50-year-old suspect yesterday (28) in connection with the murder. The suspect was arrested near the Thewatta Church in Ragama.
The suspect is a resident of Sethapola and is due to be produced before the Puttalam Magistrate's Court.
