The water supply for parts of Colombo and its suburbs will be disrupted for 10 hours tonight (May 19) owing to essential maintenance work at the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant, the National Water Supply & Drainage Board (NWSDB) says.
The water cut will be in effect no later than 10 hours from 10.00 p.m. today until 8.00 a.m. tomorrow (May 20).
Accordingly, the areas affected by the water cut are Kotte and Kaduwela Municipal areas; Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa Urban Council areas and Colombo 04, 08, 07 and 08 areas.
