Water supply will be cut off for eight and half hours (8 ½ h) in selected areas of the Gampaha district on Sunday due to a sudden breakdown at the CEB substation in Sapugaskanda, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board said.
Scheduled water cuts will be implemented starting on from 8.30 am until 5.00 pm.
This schedule applies to the following areas: Paliyagoda, Wattala, Ja-Ela, Katunayake, Seeduwa Urban Council Areas and the , Kelaniya, Wattala, Biyagama, Mahara, Dompe, Ja-Ela, Katana, Minuwangoda, Pradeshiya Sabha areas as well as part of the Gampaha Pradeshiya Sabha area.
