Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy took to his official Twitter handle to urge members of the Sri Lanka Tamil Community including TNA leader Sampanthan to work together with Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa for "the sake of Tamil issues."
I urge the SL Tamil Community as well as its senior respected leaders like Sampathadam to try for a working arrangement with PM Rajapakse for the sake of Tamil issues. For what it is worth I would be happy to work for a favourable settlement if required

Further Mr Swamy offered support to "work for a favourable settlement."
Praising newly sworn in Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, Mr Swamy said PM Rajapaksa was handling the "SL SItuation with great skill."
It seems now that Mahinda Rajapaksa is handling the SL situation with great skill. The Speaker of SL who was opponent now has allowed Rajapaksa to sit in PM’s chair when Parliament convenes.
