A body of an attendant at Karapitiya Teaching Hospital was found today (Nov 02) in a drain at the Galle –Karapitiya road in Hirimbura area, local media reported The deceased is reported to be a 59 year old resident of Matara Walgama area. He had reported to work yesterday after ten days of leave. And he was last seen yesterday evening while leaving after work at the hospital. Investigations underway to reveal cause of death.
An Attorney at law and his wife was shot dead in the car park of a super market in Akuregoda today evening.
