All stock market operations at the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) continued normally on Monday November 2 and will be the same throughout this week amidst a curfew.
CSE officials said trading of shares will be in force through online transactions while all other activities will also be online.
A 7-day curfew is in force across Sri Lanka’s Western Province where the CSE offices and trading floor are located. The curfew has been enforced to curb the spread of COVID-19 infections which has seen a spike in this province where the capital city cum business district Colombo is located.
